... mountains in the distance - seems strange as its so hot in the car. There are a few small towns along the way and all in the Lincoln Forest area, they're mostly Indian towns. We stopped at Ruidoso as there was a sign for a Western Museum, it's a really pretty town in the Sierra Blanca mountains. The old guy at the desk was really interesting showing us around all the exhibits, lots of stuff to do with Billy the Kid plus a huge section of old wagons. ...

... have veal and it was good.

After dinner we came back "home" and now Bob is sleeping on the couch while COPS plays on the TV and I am finishing up this blog.

Did not take any pictures today since we didn't go anywhere. Tomorrow the plan is to drive UP to Cloudcroft, hopefully it won't rain tomorrow. It's supposed to rain tonight, but so far nothing.

Hope everyone has a good day ...

But during its hey day it enjoyed prosperity and became famous for the exciting and lawless times of the Lincoln County War which included Billy the Kid. The road which runs through the center of town (in truth, the only road) was once described by President Hayes as "the most dangerous street in America". Many historians consider this to be the most authentic old ...

... and down the street. But it is a very nice course. I shot a 71 on the front 9 and 69 on the back. Bob was shot 113 for all 18. Linda hasn't played much, so she decided to not play the back 9. The pictures of the deer are on the course. The large herd were just sitting by the cart path along hole 17. The noise we made didn't bother them at all. The others, I really had to use the zoom to get pictures. We've played where ...
