    Clean, clean, clean!

Tomorrow we will be going back over to Alamogordo to take in the Pistachio Farm tour. I may even decide to buy some more Pistachio ...

... Hatch Chile time, because they are everywhere. They are a product of New Mexico and Walmart is selling them by the boxful for $13. I don't know but that sounds cheap to me. If anyone wants any let me know soon, OH BTW, they're HOT!

After breakfast we drove out to THE INN OF THE MOUNTAIN GODS HOTEL/CASINO. WOW what a beautiful view they have there. It is in a small valley surrounded by the mountains and next to a ...

... a local newspaper. Last weekend they had a biker rally which was attended by 600 people. 19 Sep they are having another one and this one will probably have close to 4000 in attendance.

we then drove over to the Valley of Fire Recreation Area, a Bureau of Land Management facility. This is where as recent as 1500 years ago lava flowed through this valley. This makes it the youngest lava flow in The flow is 2-5 miles wide, 44 miles long, and in places 165 feet thick ...
