Twenty four miles? I’m bushed after eight!

Zan comments that he looks older than the usual thru-hiker. “Yeah, they all seem to be in their twenties or seventies,” he says. “I’m thirty-seven. This is a beautiful ...

I walked around the somber area for 20 minutes or so, imagining what had happened just moments before the crash and how the two survivors managed to stay alive over night in negative 30 degree weather and live to tell the tale. I started to get cold (I didn't dress for hiking in 45 degree weather) and felt like a wuss because I know the men who stood in the very place I was standing were in a much worse predicament than I was, yet I could simply walk to ...

I was off to meet my parentols at the farmers market. I'm lucky I actually made it there.
I was so exhausted by the time we got there. Had to sit down for a bit. Ha ha.

Mum drove out of the Bangor area and it was pretty funny. It was also quite scarey too!
Mum and dad said they didn't want a GPS and Jordan and me were like we are getting one for sure!!!! Like as if they didn't want one. So we exit the car rental place and dad directs with his road map and we take a wrong turn. Dad gave in and let the GPS guide ...

... it was a big night.

Anyway it was great to see mum and dad. We showed them around the university and they
wanted to know where the pool was so they could do laps. Dad has not been able to do any swimming in 4 days so he was keen to get going. Mum and dad will not go back to Dubai. They said it was far to hot and not much to do. They enjoyed New York, but needed more time so properly see it. They go back to NY for ...
