Nice Campground for our short stay

The campground host provide lots of information for the area. she was veery helpful. The campground is clean the bathrooms need a little updating, but it is still a nice campground. Trucks pulling long trailers will have a bit of a problem getting into this park, but just take your time and parking will be okay.

... cheese and I know Mark would want some for his birthday tomorrow, so I stopped at Bangor Wine and Cheese. A truck had been in front of me and horribly parked his car in front of me so that I had to park all wonky, too. I had a few choice words in my head and went inside. When I came out, he was still there standing by his truck bed, clearly wanting to talk (cue scared feelings). He asked if I had followed him here and I said, "that depends, where are you coming from?" His reponse, "Well, ...

... it was a big night.

Anyway it was great to see mum and dad. We showed them around the university and they
wanted to know where the pool was so they could do laps. Dad has not been able to do any swimming in 4 days so he was keen to get going. Mum and dad will not go back to Dubai. They said it was far to hot and not much to do. They enjoyed New York, but needed more time so properly see it. They go back to NY for ...

    G'day guys!

It's been a busy week! We are starting to settle in and it's been great.
I have joined the Maine University Equestrian Club and the Maine Dressage club.
We have meetings once a week and discuss events, fundraiser ideas and general horse topics.
Each week someone from the club has to discuss something to do with horses. In the dressage club we have 20 members and in the equestrian club we have 40 members. In the equestrian
club I will be able to compete ...

... of us and it was single file majority of the hike. We stopped at every view point, which meant going down really awkward and uneven spots down the rocks. But it was well worth it, looking at the waterfalls. We also passed other people doing the Appalachian Trial (as Gulf Hagus is a part of Appalachian Trail). Other people were taking their toddlers on their backs and watching them cross the river was funny as. Also passed a lot of dogs on the hike and that was good too. ...

    ... moment...
We are keen to find an apartment and settle in.... We have had some positive correspondence from a potential house and will be looking tomorrow. So fingers crossed with the apartment.

Also tomorrow we will be visiting the Acadia Park which is supposed to be amazing! Hopefully we will see some moose or even a bear? Who knows. All I know is that I am excited to explore and see these beautiful trails ...
