... that we'd parked under an apple tree... Brenda had to do 4 loads of laundry before we could leave Greenville, ($16 worth of quarters) but that gave us time to get a great blueberry pie at the church bazaar. Maine blueberries are the best, quite small and full of flavor. ... many mosquitos. that's the problem around here in the north woods, mosquitos. we are spoiled living in santa fe in that regard.
it was so good to see our friend julie, she is living in la now but was on the east coast for a wedding, so she drove up here to visit us and spent two nites. we both have been missing our friends so much so that helped some. .

That night it poured down with rain. We went to have dinner on this lovely boat but the restaurant was full. Never mind. We were off to the Irish pub for a drink and some dinner.
We had a lovely dinner and than we went to another pub. Very American. There were large TV's everywhere with sport on ...
I was like ohh ok? The pizza was eaten before we left the gas station, while we were waiting in line to pay.
Not what I was expecting after horse riding.

I got home and I was off to my equestrian meeting, where we took our group photograph.

There are some really cute bars, 3 pizza places, sushi place and some other restaurants all near the hotel. To get to the down town area, we cross a beautiful river surrounded by lovely trees. It's so picturesque.
Still no luck with housing.
We went to look at a Fraternity house which was disgusting.
It was about 20 rooms, downstairs and upstairs, shared bathroom and shared showers.

The campground host provide lots of information for the area. she was veery helpful. The campground is clean the bathrooms need a little updating, but it is still a nice campground. Trucks pulling long trailers will have a bit of a problem getting into this park, but just take your time and parking will be okay.
