... that we'd parked under an apple tree... Brenda had to do 4 loads of laundry before we could leave Greenville, ($16 worth of quarters) but that gave us time to get a great blueberry pie at the church bazaar. Maine blueberries are the best, quite small and full of flavor. ... light . we kayaked there one day for about three hours so we didn't see that much of the lake, but it had a couple of islands and a large mountain. beautiful. the north woods is an outdoor haven for fisherpeople and kayak and canoes, hunters,hikers, and alot of atv trails. the appalachian trail runs through this area. every place we go we love. but we think "where would we like to spend a summer?" and so ...
... had the flu. We planned to visit a large garden and an observatory on the way home.
But because it was raining we took mum and dad to Walmart instead and the mall.
It was like taking two little kids around.
Anyway we all had a good time in Portland.
It was really pretty and full of atmosphere.
Jordan and I are thinking of going back for the weekend.
I will post photos when Jordan gets back.

Anyway we were on our way to Donnell Pond.
After making 2 wrong turns by our stoner, bandanna, mellow guide we finally made it!!!
It was a beautiful sunny day today. The pond was stunning.
We were off on the canoes with all the other international students.
We met people from Serbia, Sir Lanka, Russia, India, China, Iran and Japan.
Everyone was really friendly and it was nice to meet people other than Americans!

The campground host provide lots of information for the area. she was veery helpful. The campground is clean the bathrooms need a little updating, but it is still a nice campground. Trucks pulling long trailers will have a bit of a problem getting into this park, but just take your time and parking will be okay.
