... up fairly quickly as most of us only had trainers on and it looked like perfect snake territory. We get back and shower using buckets and the river water. A joint effort to cook dinner and no arguments over the food so a success! We sit around with a few drinks until about 9:30, but a mixture of the long day and the Mosquitos force us to retire early. The only eventful occurrence of the night was a guy in the tent next to us getting attacked by a giant centipede! ...

Today we decided to finish the Art Gallery Tour that we had started last Wednesday.

There were blue and gold macaws and heaps of other birds that flew right over our heads. There was a croc handler ...

It's amazing at the creek as soon as you take two steps a whole heap of moths come off the forest floor and all you can see is a brown haze. lily says she swallowed a moth but I'm not sure I believe her. We went back to the house for pikelets and cream. It was 12:00 and the Gibsons had to ahead back to Gladstone, so we said our goodbyes and they were off! Basically for 2 ...

... dragons around on the paths to surprise you when you walked around a corner! There was a film crew in Roo Haven however no Irwins to be seen. It looked like an airline commercial. The tiger show was very crowded and very informative. We saw 2 tigers, Charlie and Sunita. They demonstrated many of their behaviours that they use to help care for and assess their health. They love milk so this was used throughout to encourage them to reach ...
