    Great location

Great location, just across the road from the beach. Clean amenities, well kept gardens, a lovely big pool and a chill out area with a pool table. I think a little on the pricey side- $39 per night for a powered site, but cant complain. They take pets on application and are quite strict about whats allowed and whats not. Fair enough really.

Located in a great position, smack bang in the middle of Mission. Over the road to the stunning beach and just down the street to the friendly shopping village. The park is fairly large and, at this time of year, not busy at all. Great timing for us! On two sides it abuts beautiful rainforest so there's lots of birdlife to appreciate. The amenities are terrific, with "waterfall" style high, large shower heads with good pressure. Overall the grounds are very well cared for ... perhaps the swimming pool could do with a little TLC. Temporary caretakers, Anne & Bill, have made us (and the kids) feel most welcome and we're enjoying our (6 week) stay enormously.

We absolutely loved Mission Beach, was one of our favourite placed on this trip. A nice relaxing spot to get away from it all and unwind. The caravan was nice and grassy with clean amenities and a really nice swimming pool.

After 3,400kms, today we unhitched the van for the first time. After a leisurely morning @ the caravan park & a walk along the beach to Castaways Resort for "morning tea", we hired a tinny for the afternoon & explored the islands off the Mission Beach coast.

The title says it all. We stopped @ Airlie Beach for lunch, then continued on to Mission Beach, arriving after dark. We have checked in here for 3 nights. Will be nice to have a day off the road.

We stopped at Cardwell it was a great place to have lunch we parked up right next to the ocean and sat on a picnic table to enjoy our sandwiches. After lunch we pushed on to Mission Beach.

Our next stop was Mission Beach, both Steve and I were looking forward to spending time here as it was to be our last stop on the coast before heading west. Mission Beach and the surrounding townships of Bingil Bay to the north and to the south, Wongaling Beach and South Mission Beach make up almost 14 kilometres of beautiful palm lined beaches and …

It was sunny as we left Townsville this morning and drove through lush green countryside with lots of sugar cane and banana palms to Ingham. The town wasn’t very interesting so we kept going to Cardwell a lovely little village. We went and looked at the Coral Sea Memorial for three ships that were sunk in 1942 nearby and saw the large mud …
