Great location, just across the road from the beach. Clean amenities, well kept gardens, a lovely big pool and a chill out area with a pool table. I think a little on the pricey side- $39 per night for a powered site, but cant complain. They take pets on application and are quite strict about whats allowed and whats not. Fair enough really.

Located in a great position, smack bang in the middle of Mission. Over the road to the stunning beach and just down the street to the friendly shopping village. The park is fairly large and, at this time of year, not busy at all. Great timing for us! On two sides it abuts beautiful rainforest so there's lots of birdlife to appreciate. The amenities are terrific, with "waterfall" style high, large shower heads with good pressure. Overall the grounds are very well cared for ... perhaps the swimming pool could do with a little TLC. Temporary caretakers, Anne & Bill, have made us (and the kids) feel most welcome and we're enjoying our (6 week) stay enormously.

We absolutely loved Mission Beach, was one of our favourite placed on this trip. A nice relaxing spot to get away from it all and unwind. The caravan was nice and grassy with clean amenities and a really nice swimming pool.

Firstly we both had a haircut.
Then we packed a lunch and drove out to Murray Falls, 25km SW of Tully, then out to Tully Gorge, 45km west of Tully. The falls were breathtaking and the gorge was raging. Rafters use the rapids. Not us!
Bob and Roma cooked us a delicious baked dinner. It was Yumbo!!

Easy day due to flogging down rain all night and into the morning, letting up in the afternoon.
Had a walk along the beach.

          Still raining!

Fish and chips for dinner with great friends Roma and Bob. After Happy Hour of course!
