    RV Resort for Glamping

Mill Creek RV Resort has all the amenities including full hookups- and I do mean sewer as well. The lots are spacious and level. The resort is literally a quarter mile off the highway, and, due to the influx of traffic for First Monday, the exit ramps have been widened to accommodate RVs. All in all, navigation is extremely easy. The resort also has stocked fishing ponds. There is a gorgeous pool overlooking a beautifully landscaped green space that is often used for weddings, and a disc golf course and volleyball net round out the offerings. The only point I might warn against is paying extra for the "waterfront" sites. They really aren't waterfront at all, and the upper park connections are on the wrong side to actually hook your RV up and be able to sit under your awning to look at the pond. When we were last there, this past summer, they were adding a pond and dog park. Also, not a big deal, but if you want alcohol, bring it with you. Canton is dry.

... As the three of us strolled we talked about our families and our boys. We didn’t need to relive the old military years; we had done all that a few years ago, yet I will be forever thankful to him for me coming home.

High Tea at at the Botanical Garden was amazing. The room was beautiful and the food outstanding. I didn't think the guys would get filled up on the finger sandwichs, but we were full when the meal was over. I did purchase some tea for the ...

Well, we're finally here!! Landed in Dallas this afternoon after a stop over in LA. Took us about 4 hours to sort out the rental car pick up, and our new phones. After a couple of frustrating phone calls it's all finally up and running -yay! Drove about an hour from the airport, East, and staying at a motel for the night. So far, so ...

I just couldn't wait to start blogging about our adventures in camping. This little trip to one of our favorite Texas State Parks will be the last as residents of Kemp. We will try to "find views" to earn our name and post as many pictures as possible without boring you. NO HEAVY READING. Just a lot of good pictures with ...

Well we pulled out of the campground at 8:20 to an accident on the main road. Because we had to turn left and they were down to 1 lane we had to wait 15 minutes before we could leave. Crossed over the Mississippi at Baton Rouge. We have seen it many times in various places but here I know what they mean by the muddy Mississippi. What a long day. Terry said he wasn't going to put in long days but here it is ...

... At the entrance information station in Texas, the lady at the counter warned us not to try to stay in Canton because it was Canton First Monday Trade days. We believed her, so I called a highly rated RV park in the next large town after Canton, Terrell, and got told that it only had two spots left for one night, but were otherwise sold out for the weekend because of Canton First Monday Trade Days. We reserved a ...
