    RV Resort for Glamping

Mill Creek RV Resort has all the amenities including full hookups- and I do mean sewer as well. The lots are spacious and level. The resort is literally a quarter mile off the highway, and, due to the influx of traffic for First Monday, the exit ramps have been widened to accommodate RVs. All in all, navigation is extremely easy. The resort also has stocked fishing ponds. There is a gorgeous pool overlooking a beautifully landscaped green space that is often used for weddings, and a disc golf course and volleyball net round out the offerings. The only point I might warn against is paying extra for the "waterfront" sites. They really aren't waterfront at all, and the upper park connections are on the wrong side to actually hook your RV up and be able to sit under your awning to look at the pond. When we were last there, this past summer, they were adding a pond and dog park. Also, not a big deal, but if you want alcohol, bring it with you. Canton is dry.

... got worse overnight...first he had shaking chills, and just couldn't get warm, and then, before he could get to sleep, he started burning up with the highest fever I've ever felt. Of course, we were in a hotel, so no thermometer...all I could do was give him some Tylenol, and he finally went to sleep for a few hours. When he woke up again, he was still hot, but a couple of Motrin helped his stomach pain, and helped lower ...

Gordonville - Lake Tawakoni is our RV campground home for this week, we have been here before and recall the large live oaks scattered throughout the Campsites. It is very peaceful to sit outside in the screen tent and read my current book; watch the birds and squirrels invade Caryn’s bird feeders and squirrel scraps, along with enjoying the shade of these ...

Well, we're finally here!! Landed in Dallas this afternoon after a stop over in LA. Took us about 4 hours to sort out the rental car pick up, and our new phones. After a couple of frustrating phone calls it's all finally up and running -yay! Drove about an hour from the airport, East, and staying at a motel for the night. So far, so ...

We will try to "find views" to earn our name and post as many pictures as possible without boring you. NO HEAVY READING. Just a lot of good pictures with ...

... we are still 30 minutes away from campground which is east of Dallas. When we got on I-20 speed limit was 75 but since we are having luck with the price of diesels Terry doesn't push the motorhome that high. We were concerned about the warnings of severe weather with possible tornadoes but this morning it looked like it was further north and east than we were going.  Nice campground off I-20 ...
