      RV Resort for Glamping

Mill Creek RV Resort has all the amenities including full hookups- and I do mean sewer as well. The lots are spacious and level. The resort is literally a quarter mile off the highway, and, due to the influx of traffic for First Monday, the exit ramps have been widened to accommodate RVs. All in all, navigation is extremely easy. The resort also has stocked fishing ponds. There is a gorgeous pool overlooking a beautifully landscaped green space that is often used for weddings, and a disc golf course and volleyball net round out the offerings. The only point I might warn against is paying extra for the "waterfront" sites. They really aren't waterfront at all, and the upper park connections are on the wrong side to actually hook your RV up and be able to sit under your awning to look at the pond. When we were last there, this past summer, they were adding a pond and dog park. Also, not a big deal, but if you want alcohol, bring it with you. Canton is dry.

... to the #1 in the world the day before, but the people were nice, and the coach is really in very nice shape! Unfortunately, Greg had started having stomach pain on the drive down, and really wasn't feeling well, so after we talked and looked at the coach for about 3 hours, we told them we were pretty serious, but just had to go find a place to sleep on it in hopes that Greg would feel better the next morning. ...

Gordonville - Lake Tawakoni is our RV campground home for this week, we have been here before and recall the large live oaks scattered throughout the Campsites. It is very peaceful to sit outside in the screen tent and read my current book; watch the birds and squirrels invade Caryn’s bird feeders and squirrel scraps, along with enjoying the shade of these ...

Well, we're finally here!! Landed in Dallas this afternoon after a stop over in LA. Took us about 4 hours to sort out the rental car pick up, and our new phones. After a couple of frustrating phone calls it's all finally up and running -yay! Drove about an hour from the airport, East, and staying at a motel for the night. So far, so ...

We will try to "find views" to earn our name and post as many pictures as possible without boring you. NO HEAVY READING. Just a lot of good pictures with ...

... we don't hear the traffic noise like we did in Gulfport.  Midnight came and I can tell you that I have never heard rain, thunder and lightening as we had.  Of course we are in a tin box but it sounded like it was low and right over us but in 15 minutes it was gone and the motorhome was in one piece. Our next day will also be long but we will be at our first site that will be a couple of days. ...
