I would say the place was okay. Although Nancy loved the "Old Town" which sits right next to it. It is a mock version of Dawson Creek in earlier times.

We were worried about finding a spot in Dawson Creek since it was late as we pulled in and a holiday weekend. There are many spaces and it was not to crowded. The park has a few trees but no privacy. We were glad it was not to full or we all would have been on top of each other. Glad to have electricity and water. Good wifi connection and friendly staff. The park is clean and if you need to stop in Dawson Creek this is the place.

We would recommend this campground. It is right on the highway, and easy to get into. It accomodates large RV's.

We made good progress today, 280 miles. The road south from Fort Nelson was good and the weather was good so we just kept going, finishing for the day in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, which is Mile 0 of the Alaska Highway. I remember how excited we were on July 3 when we were here to start the Alaska Highway. It felt like we had come a long ways …

Art left early this morning with Ron to return to Grande Prairie to pick up the air filter needed to fix Ron's RV.

My goal for the day was to clean and do a little laundry. When Art returned, he changed clothes and went to help install the new air filter. I wasn't able to get all of the rig cleaned up before I had to get ready to go to town. We all were to assemble at the Mile 0 sign for ...
