A beautiful tour this morning, after a wonderful breakfast at the bigger hotel across the road. We saw Cannery Row, and followed the waterfront for a long way. Through the Pebble Beach development, which has lots of golf courses - privately owned land - to the famous Pebble Beach course. We got out and went to the 18th hole and the whole complex is lovely, with beautiful hanging baskets and ...

We (obviously) even covered the history of the ashes!!!! It's been great to spend these three days in this small group. We've all learnt so much about each other's cultures and practices. I couldn't have found all this out just travelling around on my own. I'm so glad I did this trip. I now know all about, eggplant and ...

... gathering that the small things are hard to get in Cuba..tampons, candy, snacks, Tylenol, aspirin, Advil, toothbrushes, paper pencils to name a few. Fidel, dude, what's up with this ****? Of course the official story is the wicked, bad "Embargo". ********! Communism is such a sado-masochistic culture, using withholding and giving as a large population manipulation technique. Enough political rant. ...
