Took advantage of the ensuite special being offered. A little luxury on our behalf. The amenities were the best so far - clean and modern. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Mandalay - a great Xmas experience

We were fortunate enough to stay there over Xmas2014/New Years 2015 with family from Perth. We parked our own van, they had a cabin. We all had an absolutely fabulous time! The facilities are second to none, and the staff are so helpful. There is everything you need to simply relax and enjoy yourself! The location is fantastic near the beach and shopping centres and the visiting food vendors were a real bonus! The pools and water slide were the biggest drawcard though - Hours of fun for young and old! (Old make the biggest splashes on the slide though!) We couldn't have had a better and more relaxing time! We wished we could have stayed there longer, and can't wait to go back again. Thanks for making our family Xmas one to remember!

Awesome water slide - fun for all ages!

          Nice but so many rules

Lovely caravan park, great facilities although the pool was being refurbished while we were there. Assistance given parking at sites, lots of green grass. Only thing we didn't like was we were given 3 A4 pages of rules and regulations when we checked in - way over the top. All persons under 21 have to wear wristbands for the entire length of their stay in the park. We have come across lots of nice caravan parks in our travels but none have had the need to have so many rules. It spoiled the experience for us, and we're not rule breakers, it was just over the top

If you want a spotlessly clean, manicured and well situated caravan park, then this is for you.

The staff are some of the best we've come across and the facilities are second to none.

We cannot find a single fault!

Headed south to the most south westerly point in Australia.

It was cool and windy at the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse. We went for a tour of it last time we were here – 2006 with Mum. Behind the lighthouse is where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet. The marker has changed since our last visit. Before it was a wooden post on the rock. …

Cool morning again. It rained quite heavily and several times during the night. Left the cabin before 8.30. Called into reception to see if they could book us into a park in Margaret River. Not possible as it is the Cape to Cape mountain bike race starting in the south at Cape Leeuwin and finishing at Cape Naturaliste. It is a 4 day race starting …

Today we had a very busy day driving around the Margaret River region. We started by driving to Meelup Beach which is apparently one of the best beaches in Australia. It was too cold to try the water but it was a nice beach area. Next stop was the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse which was built in 1903 to help all fishing ships see where the coast was …

This morning we packed up in Perth and drove to Busselton. When we arrived we set up and went for a swim. We slid in the freezing water on the waterslide before having a swim in the partly heated indoor pool. We then had a shower and went for a scoot and a play on the bouncy, tight jumping pillow. After a little play we rugged up and went for a …

We'd decided camping would be a good idea and so we'd invested heavily in a 4 man dome tent ($25) and an air bed ($27). The tent was put to the test on the first night as the heavens opened. It largely withstood the deluge but there was a little bit of water around the insides giving a ...
