A fabulous van park that meets all your needs. Great facilities including playground, recreational room, swimming pool, very clean amenity block and front loading washing machines. Security guards walk the grounds at night. Across the road is parkland then the beach. Also the Main Beach Surf Club with dinning facilities overlooking the ocean. Council run van park with reasonable rates.

A great park situated across the road from the beach. Great facilities. The park is run by the local council. It is central to most attractions.

Woo hoooo, we're home!!!!! Well at least that's how we felt pulling into Surfers Paradise. It's been almost 5 years since we've been here last but we both still absolutely love it.

We stayed at the Main Beach Tourist Park right in Surfers and across the road from the beach. After a bit of messing around with some really small and uneven …

After leaving Dubbo we drove nearly five hundred kilometres to Goondiwindi on the boarder in Queensland. We stayed overnight enjoying their artesian water spa pool and ordinary pool. It was so relaxing in the warm bubbling water.

The following day our destination was Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. A drive of nearly four hundred …

The GPS guided us to Towoomba from Goondiwindi then took us down the steepest road I have ever been on. I rode the brake the whole way down as did all the vehicles including trucks. We could smell the front brakes that we had had replaced just before we left. The motorway took us to Logan and then onto the Gold Coast without a set of traffic lights …

On Saturday morning Dad and I stumbled onto the Elvis Expo. The first round of an Elvis competition. I think my Dad and I were the youngest in the audience but we really enjoyed it. I sang along to the classics!

After our reef adventure the weather deteriorated back to showers and cool air so we decided to move on. Leaving Port Douglas we drove 30 miles north to check out Mossman and Daintree village.
