Lynden / Bellingham KOA

... birthday - October 16th he turned 51!  We had a quiet day but one that still had some adventure. We traveled to Rachael's on the Skytrain for the first time. We parked our car in Coquitlam and hopped on the train and was at her place in less than 10 minutes. That is definitely the way to go. ... We spent the rest of the weekend getting things in the apartment in order. We had purchased shelving for the laundry room (closet) and hanging pictures. ... check around after he had finished. The rest of the day therefore was set aside for just having a nice relaxing time and enjoying having our new friends with us. We had a BBQ tea and mucked about with the kids until it was time to settle them down for the night. Craig and Steve carried on with the Whisky late into the night while I went off to bed!

This afternoon we went to the zoo well my grandparents went to there motor home. I guess they had to go pick things up and I don't know. The zoo was awesome. We walked a long ways and it was hot and I was wearing flip flops. Luckily I didn't get any blisters. It was only really red. I'm ready to burst with excitement at whatever all of this possibility, this creative human potential, might mean for my future. The hope this city gives me for finding a more positive, creative way to live on this planet is something I'll be thinking about as we move on. We ended up having dinner with her and later meeting up while we were in Seattle. We took a stroll around Stanley Park (beautiful) and really just relaxed while we were here. We even found time to take in a movie, Shop Girl with Steve Martin and Claire Danes.
