SS Badger Ferry crossing Lake Michigan to Manitowoc, WI - 4 hours saves 3 days of travel!

Up early to be at the port before 8 am. Mazy stayed in the RV …hope the calming treat helped her relax for the 4 hour crossing. We were a little nervous about that since we were not allowed to drive the RV onto the Ferry. We landed at port …

Stopped for lunch in at a bowling alley/restaurant called Tucker's in a cute little town called Northport, Michigan.

We rode by the lake almost all day today. Just really gorgeous scenery.

Onward to ...

6-21-14 – Saturday and Summer Equinox (the Longest Day of the Year).

On the way to Ludington State Park, we did a couple geocaches. At the park the boys had a chance to ...

Sunday drove to Silver Lake State Park- Crazy, wow madhouse around the park. Looked like NASCAR race day. Packed with hot rod trucks and pulling 4 wheel ATVs, motorcycles. Rode our bikes to these gigantic Sand Dunes and where they allow ORV's to drive on these dunes. Looked like Sahara Desert. Trucks, dune ...
