We then headed over to great river bluffs to start our first camping
experience of the trip. As we drove into the area we were in awe. We

We survived and it ended up cooling off and a nice breeze followed. It was nice being able to open up all the windows and we definitely got a good nights sleep.
The weather all around the general area has been crazy with ...

... of place that really makes it all worthwhile. I really mean it. We got off to a late start this morning and headed to Alma Center/Hixton which is southwest from where we were. We have some extra time before we need to get to South Dakota, so we made a reservation at the Hixton Alma Center Kampground for the next 3 days. The ride down here was just beautiful. I know I'm saying this about much of our travels, but it really was beautiful. ...
