... blæste helt vildt, så de synes ikke det var så godt. Klokken blev endelig tre, og så kunne vi komme ud i bølgerne. Først en lille snak omkring bølger. Nede på stranden øvede vi popups på vores boards, ikke så svært på sandet som i vandet... Nå vi kom ud i bølgerne og vi kom også op og stå et par gange. ... the weather wasn't brilliant today either, but before we left woolgoolga we had a quick look round the market, which was literally about 6 stalls and then a quick look round the town which wasn't very big either. ... enjoyed the cake I had bought for her birthday!) Tomorrow we catch a train from Coffs Harbour to Sydney where we are staying for just a few days before we fly off the Adelaide. We will meet up with the lovely couple who own the amazing apartment we are going to stay in on Sydney Harbour for dinner on Tuesday. I'll do another post before we leave.

Realising that lack of fitness is part of my poor golf efforts and to be ready for the onslaught of happy hours as we travel have started back walking each morning. So far Oskar has come along but do note he lags on outward bound part of walk but picks up pace as we head homeward. He may be old but hasn't lost his smartness.

... for the night, which could only be likened to one of those shipping containers you see on large boats, we grabbed our free lunch of sandwiches to give us energy, then started our surf lesson. Our instructor gave us all huge surfboards – apparently the bigger they are the easier it is to stay on then – and we headed down to the beach for the first part of our lesson, on surf safety.
