Then it was on to Midway Geyser Basin. The much photographed Grand Prasmatic Spring is here, however what they don't tell you is that those pictures are taken from the air. There's no way to get a really good shot of this colorful spot from on the ground. It sure was beautiful to look at though, especially when the sun was shining on it.

... lunch. It had been raining all day on and off and of course it rained when we wanted to eat lunch. Thankfully the pine trees kept us out of the rain. For lunches everyday we packed turkey sandwiches for me and Jeremy. Harlie had grapes and ritz crackers with peanut butter. We had a little basket of snacks too! ... were a few walks around this area and it was cool to walk around. Back to the coach and yet again we had to wait for our to manager to get back. He was taking pictures as well. We then got back on the coach and made the drive to old faithful. It took longer then expected due to road works but we did see lots of animals in the area, just doing their own thing. There was also some great scenery.
