... the Shoshone National Forest. We stopped at the Buffalo Bill Dam along the way. We pulled in to the parking lot and I couldn't find the visitors center. Come to find out it is hidden back away from the road and parking lot next to the dam. There were two large golf carts for guests to take to the visitor center. ... water turns to steam, which is a massive expansion and so causes the eruption (apologies to Ian, or any chemists or physicists for mangling that explanation). ... pulled over so we drove by really slow and saw a black bear with her 3 cubs right there on the side of the mountain by the road! The baby bears were so cute.
