It raining now, with no hopes of clear sky in sight. It's a perfect driving day to get more miles behind us. We are now at 1103 miles and GPS says 467 miles to go! We continue to make our way east, next stop the Upper Peninsula of the state of Michigan to the city of Marquette. We decided to return to the motel . . . and Nick & Connie to home for a little rest, before heading out for dinner. We still had no water!

We headed out to dinner about 5:00 pm. The cuisine and restaurant of choice was a new ...

... recommneded it last time; it is close to where they live, easy to get to, and a well-kept older property. The rooms are clean and quite large with extra space for bags, etc.

We got settled and checked in at home. Then, made our way to Nick & Connie's. We visited until 11:00 pm, then called it a night. We made plans for them to pick us up for breakfast, then visit some of the attractions, including The Yooper Museum in Ispeming!! We turned in.
