We had a noon flight so plenty of time to get our things together before the cab took us to the airport. Our driver was originally from Tonga and he told us he loves Reno. On the way to the airport, Brynn asked if we can stay living in Reno "until we move" and mentioned she wanted to stay for the snow. ... to hide from the heat in a Dairy Queen... The food was ok, but nothing special. The next shop we tried was a success and we managed to get stocked up for the next few days. By the time we reached our camp site for the night the wind had really set in and putting up the tents was a struggle and a half!bed went for a quick dip in the pool before the cooking group starting prepare dinner. ... the rock faces. We were slightly nervous driving on the outside of the road, with no barriers at all. To the left was pretty much a sheer drop to the valley below and, in a wide van with cars driving on the other side of the narrow road, we were definitely relieved when we reached the top. ... me yawn right now! We’re setting up on a parking lot in Glen Rose which is nice for not getting dirt and mud in the house, but less than stellar for the animals. No grass grazing for them, but they get plenty of food and water to get them through. The tent has to be tethered to semis to hold it up since they can’t drive stakes into the ground. We move toward our new campground Sun Country in Whitney, Texas. In trying to find the campground, we ended up in a tiny little town with dirt roads and very narrow streets. We called the campground to get better directions (than the GPS was giving us). We are learning the GPS is often not absolutely correct.
