... on a dirt road, turn the heat on and drive away. I got my karma as I got very lost on the way out. The dirt roads leading up to the crash site are also used mostly by loggers. The roads are long and narrow and you don't realize you've gone the wrong way until you hit a dead end several miles later. I must have toured almost all of the logging roads before running into a guy driving a gravel truck and asked for directions (thank God I was a female, our I could have been lost all day!). ...

Mum did a good job at driving. It took us 1.5 hours to get to Portland. The hotel was really nice and fancy. The rooms looked over the harbor and everyday there was a new cruise ship to look at, along with other boats. It was great to be so close to the water and to ear the seagulls! It was peaceful.

wanted to know where the pool was so they could do laps. Dad has not been able to do any swimming in 4 days so he was keen to get going. Mum and dad will not go back to Dubai. They said it was far to hot and not much to do. They enjoyed New York, but needed more time so properly see it. They go back to NY for ...
