The APs (Accompanying Persons, PC for Spouses) have been hounded all week by a young videographer and when I stepped off of the rocky ride looking like Methuselah and saw his camera and microphone pointed at me I asked "How does my hair look? " and stumbled on.

Jerry and I climbed up to the top of the lighthouse and were rewarded with a stunning view, lack of oxygen and sore calves. On the return ride it started raining ...

We finally arrived at a huge Volvo complex about 15 miles outside Gothenburg, encompassing many acres. We passed the company's main world headquarters, and were delivered to a modern-looking building nearby.

There was another round of apologies for the lack of the promised airport pickup on Sunday and the delay this morning. And then Joyce was given a stack of paperwork to approve and sign. ...

... but we got to enjoy viewing five others from the ferry. Since the islands are too small for cars, I thought it was funny that the locals drive motorbikes with seats similar to what you see in a stroller and some had crate-like open trunks (pictures attached). I can only imagine how beautiful the islands must be in the summer when the locals are out and everything is open for tourists to enjoy! As most of you know, I LOVE food so I am happy to report ...

... leaving Stockholm. Having just been there we could figure out where they were broadcasting from - but not why anybody would want to listen the the bubblegum pop music the crowds appeared to be enjoying with gusto. We also got to catch up with Phoebe via FaceTime and enjoyed that very much. Tomorrow morning we head to Copenhagen and have committed ourselves to slowing the pace of sightseeing a bit and just relaxing, biking, etc. for a few ...

Now it’s understandable and forgivable I believe that we hit this rock but what happened next is hard to justify – shock perhaps? Anyway, we hit another rock as we were making our way to a green channel buoy and this one was clearly marked! It was only a small glance so no real additional damage was done but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully understand quite how I allowed that ...
