OK so this is my first post on this site.
Here are our stats for today.
Left Oceanport at 8:45am and arrived in Sandusky, OH at 6:45pm.
We traveled 545 miles on I-80 and it was a long and hot ride.
Tomorrow is Chicago which is 250 miles, so an easy ride compared to today.

Had dinner with my riding buddiy Jim and cousins Jane and Jim and then reunited the bikes in Jim's garage for the start of our journey together. Good ending for a 500 mile, 8 hour riding day.

On again off again thunderstorms with limited visibility made me tense. Add to that the tunnel I had forgotten about on the Pennsylvania turnpikes made my shoulder muscles tense and sore. Lots of major slow ups for speeding tickets and tire changes "lookie loos". I did an early night with a hot shower to loosen up my ...

... you the height limit? Well, 6'8" was the number on the garage we picked and according to James, with his head sticking out of the window, we cleared it by about and inch. Well, the trip to the top was more nail biting than jumping out of a plane with a plexi-glass door. We only scraped 3 I-beams. It was to late to back out, literally. OMG ...
