      ... technical problem the whole spa was closed! The afternoon was put to good use catching up on washing and cleaning instead, not exactly the pamper afternoon we had envisaged!

      ... distance cycled today was 54km.
      We have ended our 14 day cycle tour of the Loire valley. We will stay in Le Croisic for a couple of days before flying to Rome, Italy and travelling to Assisi to start our next bike tour of the Tuscany/Umbria area of Italy. We will explore the area around Le Croisic for a few days, do some laundry and catch up with the blog entries before we depart France. Au revoir!

      Our Penultimate Day in Brittany
      We took Joyce and Bill to the train station this morning for their journey to London and then home to Halifax. We had one last petit dejeuner together at the station. Their train was a TGV fast trail to Lille, France to connect with the Eurostar for London.
