    ... floods and devastation. A lot has happened while we've been away but we have been proud of the way our state has rebounded and are moving forward.

    We're excited to be getting home tomorrow. We’ve been very fortunate through all our travels and have enjoyed sharing our adventures with our friends and family. We’re glad I wrote the blog because it’s already hard to remember some of the names of places we’ve been!

    ... the 25th year of the German reunification (1989). They were expecting thousands of people in Frankfurt and we actually ( on Saturday night) watched the major event on the TV. Dinner was at a very small local eatery where we had pork and potatoes ( of course) and wine. We sat at long wooden table with style. A neighborhood German place full of locals and fun to experience. We returned "home" and settled down for the night.

    ... and things bigger than Ben Hur. And what do we notice, but there are hordes of people on the side of the road with deck chairs set up lining the streets. In parking lot after parking It are hordes upon hordes of classic cars.     ... of our what better time to take a little walk...have some time to think...get rid of some "pebbles" (Thank you Deacon Dave Pecot) that I've been carrying around....get to a place of simple living...and learn what is important in our lives.

    ... ended up having 9 because,
    well, he's a teenager and doesn't have a discerning palette. But most
    of us had 2 or 3. The worst takeaway we've had so far but I had it on
    my list to try so can cross that one off. Eeewww I feel blerch even
