Cycled our 5000th km today
We were heading for La Veta pass. The climb was steady but mild and we had strong tailwinds, so you can hardly call it a pass, it was so easy.
On the other side, we got headwinds. The scenery became very English-looking with its fields, trees and birds.

Las Animas County registries mention that Delagua had a population of 2000 by 1925. The coal

mine ran continuously except for a short spell in 1939 due to unfavorable economic conditions.
