Toured Brookgreen Gardens over a three day period.
Spent couples of day walking & sitting on beach.
Saturday we walked on the beach in the morning, very warm day with heat index of 102. Went to the pool area, used the lazy river, Lynn tried the pool slide and we both made several laps around the lazy river. Finished the day with a waffle cone, Lynn had moose tracks and I had cookie dough.
This weekend Lynn and I camped at Lakewood Campground in Myrtle Beach, SC. This was the first camping trip with our new motor home nick named Cravin'. The Friday night set up was uneventful, with practice it should be quicker and easier on future trips.
... We rode in a helicopter for about 5 min for 40$ each. It was a quick ride but a great experience. After that we headed back to barefoot landing to see the tigers from T.I.G.E.R.S preservations. people were taking pictures holding the tiger but that was 100$. We just decided to look at the cub tigers through the glass. That was a nice experience. They were very playful. ...
Our true plan was to anchor somewhere along the Wacamaw River up one of the Cypress lined Creeks. Gary spent hours researching and we had up to 7 possible stops. But because of my work we needed good cell service; and after trying all 7 we knew we could not stay in this area.
So Plan H had us in Georgetown, SC for the week.
No complaints. Nice southern town; good food; and we made some friends.
