On the original schedule, my day was Little Rock to Charlotte, then to Norfolk and back to Charlotte, then to Albany. We were supposed to be at the airport at 8:00 this morning to head to Charlotte again but the captain called me about 7:00 and said that they changed it to 11:00 so I went back to bed for a little bit. We got to the airport about 11:00 and the gate agent told us we ...

... teams to play against the Northside High School Monarchs. Both teams lost, but tried very hard. This was the first school that we have visited that had cheerleaders and a band for the games. The boys and girls were billeted out for the night, with one family having all of the girls from both teams stay over for a "Wakeover". By the time we offloaded the kids it was 11:30pm by the we had dinner at the steakhouse next to the ...

06/08/18 From Vickie: For some reason, today seems to have been the most difficult day of riding for me so far. True, each day does find me a little stronger and a more capable rider, but as we were walking up to the campground shower facility this evening, I confided to Jim that I had pedaled most of the day from my "go mode" setting. First problem of the day; we started the day in slightly overcast and wet conditions. I do not clip into the pedals or use toe straps, ...
