Ron is a member of CHANY and the entire Ryan crew was there. The conference was great and I had a great time. While ron was attending the workshops I went sightseeing by myself.I walked over 15 miles, had lunch and tasted the water in the springs.
We left Ballston Spa with lots of tears all around. We have had a wonderful time enjoying the everyday routine of the kids and being able to participate in their activities. It is very hard to leave. Saratoga Springs, NY, has one of the oldest horse racing courses in the country, and it's right in town along with an equestrian museum and hall of fame. I expect Brenda will trot me right on over there. Coming into town we passed the Spa State Park, featuring mineral springs and "geyser-like spouters." I can **********tain myself. Outside of town there's an Historical Park with a 3200 acre Revolutionary War battlefield. AND, there's a car museum! What a cool town! ...
