We took another long day trip today, but today we went into Vermont and drove the most scenic roads in Vermont. The trees were very beautiful. Crossed into New York State
Crossed the bridge over Lake Champlain into New York State at Ticonderoga, and headed south on I-87. We had a room waiting at another Evergreener, south of Albany, NY and had a long drive yet to go, and it was already dark. No more photos today - just put the pedal to the metal and booked south on I-87 and I-88 and arrived at 10pm at our destination.

Golf Digest 4,5 stars course
Threesome a fait un arrêt au Airway Meadows GC à 30 minutes au nord d'Albany. Ce parcours ne mérite pas 4,5 étoiles...il faut croire que ceux qui ont donné ce rating au terrain devaient avoir fumé du bon stock!!!!! Demain matin, Founders Club à Penn National, première ronde de pratique avant de planter(nous le souhaitons...bravo Europe) les Américains ...
A Day of Falls
After a big storm last night it was much cooler today, though still very overcast with a possibility of more rain. We headed off to High Gorge Falls located on the west branch of the Ausable River in the shadow of Whiteface Mountain. Walkways and bridges provide access to breathtaking views.

Tegen 1 uur 's-nachts was het euvel verholpen. De lichten en airco sprongen aan. Even schrikken.
De storing leidde er wel toe dat de hotelgasten gezellig voor het hotel met elkaar een biertje dronken en met elkaar aan de praat gingen. Gedeelde smart is halve smart.
