    ... National forest.
    Moored alongside the houseboat is Juniors new toy- last year was a pontoon boat, but now has been replaced with a Tritoon boat. We enjoyed a leisurely cruise on the lake on the Saturday afternoon (on the Tritoon), followed by a lovely meal on the top deck, cooked by Debbie. A serious game of Mexican Train dominoes followed, making for a long evening!!.

    FREE to enjoy with the family, Kids and friends. Great place to picnic and hike. Free parking lot with bathrooms. Great Free swimming beach, just watch the kids near the water, this is a RIVER ...highly recommend for a great day trip outing..Grills available and bear safe trash cans..I loved this area..for the Budget Crafty...Great day trip area to make your own fun and memories..

    Woke up this morning to 22 degrees and clear. Yesterday it snowed on and off all day although it never did stick to the ground. Now we have officially reached the coldest weather we will probably see on our trip. Love our down comforters.

    Another beautiful day we are off to Yosemite there is a big fire so we see the smoke as getting. Closer it will be a long way from us and its a different fire to the one in the park this is on the other side we get views of it as we pass.     We awoke after a restful night sleep with our intrepid explorer feet itching. After some breakfast we headed for Cumberland Falls National Park. We started walking and it wasn't long before we heard the roaring of the waterfall.
