    ... Fortunately I am not staying there. I have a package to pick up at the Brattens (trail angel) where i will also spend the night. Arriving there by 2:30pm, I had plenty of time to do laundry and eat at the Caribou Cafe close by.     ... that bad. From 3000 feet to 6000 feet, the climbing was gradual. I was under thick tree canopy for most of it. I may have said it before, and I'll say it again. I am loving this canopy. When the canopy does open up, you have majestic vistas of the mountains just full of so many pine trees. I can't remember seeing so many pine trees in my life.     Wednesday, July 8, 2015. PCT day 80. Miles 1224.4-1251.4 I did another 25 miler today. I have to admit, tho, that I am tired. It rained for most of the day starting at noon.
