It was a long drive from New Orleans to Houston. Nita spent the day working while I drove.

We're staying at the same park we 'hijacked' a spot in on the way out. We spent our time doing laundry and getting ready for tomorrow's drive. It is going to be a long one too - to Sonora. We want to stay at the Caverns again - we really liked that spot!

... there is no line at the security checkpoint entrance. I walk right up to the Pre-Check zone. I tell the TSA agent checking IDs and boarding passes that I have an issue with my luggage and need to speak to a supervisor. Again, a few minutes go by, then a woman comes to speak with me. Unlike the two women at the check-in counter, she is friendly and shows empathy to my situation. She asks if I have any large liquids, aerosols, or gels in my suitcase. I say yes I have one large ...

... was driving away when I looked over my shoulder and saw it. I am glad I found it because as far as high-end nail salons go, I believe this one is ideal.
I was a walk-in, but within five minutes, my pedicurist had me seated with my color (a deep scarlet) chosen. The chairs were wonderful--roomy with massaging controls. The salon is known for being clean and organized, and I can verify that its reputation is deserved. Everything was beautifully laid ...
