Well set up campground. I'm a backcountry camper at heart, so I never love these huge developed campgrounds, but this one did a nice job maintaining privacy around the sites. The access road through the center kept all of the services accessible, but not on top of family sites. The electric fence was odd, but not intrusive, and I was happy to see that it was a supplement to, not a replacement for, good camp practices with food/garbage storage.

So, after my 13 hour bus ride from Vancouver to Lake Louise (which was actually alright, I sprawled out across the seats and managed to get a decent amount of sleep) I finally arrived at 4am. It was actually kind of scary having to walk to the hostel, even though it was only about 5 minutes away because it was pitch black and you just have no idea …

The truth of the situation

3 days ago I was excited, thrilled even, to be coming to Canada to see my beloved cousins! I arrived at 430 am on friday morning to what can only be described as a crack den without the crack consumption, I think. There is 6 foot high snow that Helen and I had to navigate through to get to the back door, at which point we see James lying on the couch in his underwear in a compromising position with another man, fast a sleep. We bang ...

Ice Magic
