Cloudless blue sky this morning and supposed to be unusually warm today and through the weekend.

8:00 AM - Headed southwest on 395. Surprised by this part of Washington. It is tree-less farm land. Some slight hills, very arid.

9:30 AM - Onto Route 14W and followed the Columbia River, on the Washington side. Tons of windmills on both sides of the river. Hills increased in size but terrain remains quite barren, brown, ...

Stopped in Bozeman for gas, coffee & gas.

West of Bozeman, the terrain is open, rolling hills of grass, sagebrush & cattle Gorgeous big sky with horizons that stretch on ...

Driving thru clouds where you can see two feet in front of you on a very narrow winding road, 8,000 foot drop on one side with no guard rails and very ...

Today we headed east from the Seattle area towards Spokane Washington. We had originally planned to go north from Seattle, and check out British Colombia, but we just dont have enough time! We did decide though, that one day, when Bob conquers his fear of flying, we will return to Seattle and either take a train or boat trip up ...
