    ... to speak with her. Do we have a rendezvous? Non. She is busy. Can we make a rendezvous svp? A lot of pffting and head shaking later and she finds someone who speaks some English. We show the letter from the banque regarding the card replacement. Lucille who speaks fair English (where was she last week?) is much nicer and will have the card ready for us next week before we leave. Whew. Lesson learned. Next house purchase I will go with ...

    ... manners on the road and stop to help with mechanicals and pull us along for a while in the head wind.

    I'm feeling strong for the first time and enjoy today's ride. It is a warm, sunny day as we roll into Olargues, un des plus beaux villages de France. I have a little cry because it's just so stunning and because David isn't here to share it.

    Vias is a popular holiday destination with many camp and caravan sites, with a population of about 5,000. They have a heap of summer festivities and entertainment.     ... told me to go to rehearsals and then come straight back. I thought this was pretty good considering it was my job to clean the outside furniture.
