There is a large casino and hotel called Blue Chip. The casino part is built in the water and the hotel is on land. The place was really big and very busy at 11:00 in the morning when we checked it out! Lots and lots of rich looking older people playing the slots! After a difficult decision Pearson decided to run Cross Country instead of playing soccer this year......too many conflict with Band and his Drum Major commitments. It's lots of work but he is enjoying being with his many friends on the team. It's too bad that he wasn't able to play ...

... saw some wildlife. First, John spotted a beautiful blue jay right outside our RV. Then he was outside and a whole gang of wild turkeys came to visit...i'm talking a whole community, maybe about 20 and of all ages, lots of little ones, too. They weren't running crazy like other flicks I have seen in the wild before, they just moseyed over to see what we were doing and then went on their way. During our bike ride over to the lighthouse we saw a bald eagle! Always ...
