Great park, loved the beff'n' Barra on Friday night when we arrived. Did not have to cook and the money raised goes to Care Flight. Only downer was the bats.

Very friendly staff, well set out park and shady sites. We enjoyed our stay overlooking Lake Kununurra. A regular freshwater croc made his way in each evening and we really enjoyed the barra burger night down by the camp fire. Well done for putting this event together only wished we could have enjoyed the Wed and Saturday night special events put on - all monies going to the St John Ambulance volunteers.

Arrived here at the peak of the dry season and yet were still found a water front site. Large park with powered and unpowered sites as well as bungalows. Functional amenities block, good laundry, dump point and gas bottle refills all available. Plenty of BBQs along the lake foreshore.

Discovery Holiday Parks - Lake Kununurra provides breathtaking views, stunning sunsets, cool breezes and is a natural haven for a variety of bird species and small animals. The unique Pumphouse Restaurant will be your next door neighbour and for the energetic, the local golf course is a 5 minute walk.

We arrived here with car problems needing repairs. The staff could not have been more accommodating ensuring a suitable site for up to a week knowing how busy the town mechanics are. Would definitely recommend.

On the road again. Met up with Barry and Sandy they have now joined our convoy. We left after a bit of excitement I realized that I had a tyre on the van that needed changing badly. I did not pick it up earlier. We quickly changed the tyre every one helped, which was good. we got on the road and we travelled safely. We stopped at a place called …

Well we made the 74km journey from Lake Argyle to Kununurra without incident. Staying at the Discovery Holiday Park on Lake Kununurra. It's a beautiful spot right on the lake. Although it is busy here it is by no means packed out. The only thing spoiling it are the amenities, which are clean but poorly fitted out.

Up early this morning for our long drive to Kununurra ( about 530kms). Remember when crossing the boarder you gain an extra 1.5 hours lol.  After checking into the Holiday Park Emma and I done a 2.5 hour flight over the Bungle Bungles, Lake Argyle and Argyle Diamond Mine. We flew with ShoalAir and I highly recommend them. From pick up and drop …

Anybody who knows me at all well can attest to the fact that I'm renowned for not being able to measure anything. Every time something needs to be measured and cut I have to buy twice as much material just to make up for errors. I recall having a shed full of timber that just wasn't quite long enough!

Well, it would appear that I may also …

Northern Territory ade, unsere Reise geht wieder gen Westen.
