We have arrived in Seward and guess what, it's raining. That’s ok, we have reserved a riverside with a view campsite, we have free WIFI, everyone can Internet and Kimmie and I can enjoy the view. Well the river view is behind the 10 ft high shrubs, the internet either doesn’t work or is so slow that we can not get any where soooooo, will have to find other things to amuse us. Sunday is our day to fish ...

We spent the day on our final boat trip to the Kenai Fjords. Not only did we see hump back whales but orcas as well and (getting blasé now), the usual sea lions, seals and porpoises! I took photos and then gave up because I needed to watch as there was a lot of tail slapping and diving! We had lunch on board and then up to a ...

We could see that the views would be spectacular but the days we were there were overcast, rainy and the mountains and views of Kechemak Bay were completely obscured by clouds. Just too touristy and crowded with shops and restaurants for us. We gave it a couple ...

We board the Statendam and at Seward and get ourselves organised in our veranda room. The boat is big compared with the river cruise boat of last year but not large as cruise ships go. We don't leave until later in the day so I take the opportunity of finding out what might be best for me to do. Also use deck 6 for an uninterrupted walk (4 times around is a mile so it says). There are ...

... and otters. We had many great picture opportunities at the facility. For dinner we ate at a seafood restaurant that only served fresh catch. The food was delicious I had a rock fish with chili powder on it. A glacier hike was nearby our cabin we decided to hike the mile long trail. It was beautiful especially the glacier that towered over us. Once we were glaciered out we decided to have some s'mores at 9 at night. I am writing this at 10 and falling asleep so good ...
