... Fremont, Ohio. Driving
through the residential area, I saw numerous houses decked out for halloween. I just hope
the pumpkins make it to Oct. 31st. Also in Fremont, I saw a box at the side of the road
selling squirell corn for $6 a bag. ( actually, the box wasn't selling it, but the owner was.)
They told me that they hang the ears in the trees for the squirells ...
It's been a long, hot summer!
I know I haven't done an update this entire summer - it's been a long, hot one, and a lot's been going on - I'm hoping to go back and post pictures here from each month's highlights. For now, here's a few photos taken during our last week at Cedarlane.

Across Pennsylvania to Lake Erie
... a beautiful campground. They gave me a perfect site, quiet (in the VIP zone) right up next to the path leading to the bay. Had a nice walk around the edge of the bay on the Red Bird Trail. Saw no red birds, but did see three pairs of swans! Several swimming along with their wing feathers all fluffed out. A trip down Tim's childhood memory lane
... off to take a photo. This innocuous park that lurks in the upper middle class neighborhoods of the Cuyahoga Valley basically tracks and follows the Ohio and Erie Canals up towards Lake Erie.
