Arrived yesterday in the pouring rain. Had spent the day doing general store with grist mill in Helen. Did a great hike to Ruby Falls. Went on to Clayton. Visited the Main St Gallery but the right Folk Art wasn't there - some cute birds and a gourd turkey - but not quite right. Had a dynamite lunch in a new restaurant called Fortify and then headed south. Drove through the pour in rain and arrived at the KOA. Had "lovely" take-out from Wendy's and turned in early. Had ...

We had a little of everything today - cold, warmth, fog, hoar frost, snow, sun - but no rain! We left Dayton around 7:30 and enjoyed the wide, expansive highway down to Cincinnati since it was sunny and dry. Made it through Cinci during morning rush hour but it was not as bad as the last time when there was an accident on I75 and we had to find our way around it in the evening rush hour.
