Friendly staff, good facilities, store with reasonably priced goods that come in handy when camping. Best of all the GORGEOUS kabins amongst the redwoods, very private with own swinging chair on the balcony and firepit and picnic table next to the kabin. Highly recommended. Good place to explore this stunning area.

Crossed into California from the town of Brookings, OR. We had to go thru a state inspection station at the Oregon/California line. No problem, simply were asked how far north we came from and …

Our campground has information on self guided tours for the area. We go out to drive through the Jedediah Smith State Park. It is fairly close to our campground. On the way to the park, we find a small casino and stop to check it out. It is really small, we don't spend much time there. We head out to the state park, it is beautiful, full of Giant …
