Saturday was carnival day on Utila! We didn't know about carnival until we arrived so we were very lucky to be here! Sadly Maura left in the morning so we waved her off before helping to blow up balloons and get ready for the fun! ... at about 6.30pm with torches, and soon enough it was totally dark except for our lights. It was weirdly disorientating being under the water in the dark but you got used to it pretty quickly.
