Happy Thanksgiving
Got up today and helped cook Thanksgiving dinner. Started with pecan and pumpkin pies. Uncle Tom always tries a new stuffing recipe. This year was chorizo and cornbread. Next was fresh cranberry sauce with toasted pecans and orange juice. As soon as the pies came out of the oven the turkey went in. Then it was time for fresh, home made tamales and bloody Mary's for ...
Woke up to Rain
Woke up this morning to rain in Canyonville. Was nice to just curl up and listen to the rain! Cousin Carrie got the rest of the week off so drove down this morning from Portland. Now the whole family is together for Thanksgiving! Got hamburgers from Ken's for lunch. Decided to splurge and got milkshakes too! Now I need a ...

know that! Dad decided to fondle Babe’s under carriage, hard to believe I know, and then we made our way into the gift shop. I never knew you could ...
Redwood National Park - World's tallest trees
... a couple of hours. So about the Redwoods, once we started to drive into the NP we already could kind of figure out how massive these trees are, even though the ones right next to the streets were babies compared to what you find deep in the woods. After a nice drive through an alley of trees did we find a perfect spot to stop and take a little walk through the forest where we could explore the insanely big ...
