... It did rain for awhile (which Sarah insists doesn't really happen this time of year) and cooled everything off so that we could have a fire and s'mores. Yummy! Plus the girls got some more snuggle time with Sarah's animals - including the chickens and of course the kittens. I don't want to keep harping on about the food here, but we went out to dinner last night and I saw fried zucchini (courgettes to you and I) on the menu. This is my favourite starter at our local Italian restaurant so I ordered them. As Gordon said afterwards, "The clue was in the name- zucchini logs."
