    ... 1 hour hike down to the boat dock just to get on the boat. It's really kind of an all day adventure. But we had to make sure, so we checked at the kiosk and all tours for the day were sold out. We were only a little disappointed, as we always assumed we wouldn't be able to get a boat ride.

    We left Grants Pass, Oregon at 7 this morning and as we were looking for a Starbucks in town we came upon the warehouse and show room for fire mountain gems, my all time favorite on line site to buy my beads! Well I got so excited, for who doesn't need beads when you are a jewelry maker! But wait the parking lot is empty, maybe we are just here to early right?
