We only stayed here one night traveling through. Friendly staff. They had an issue with water due to an unusual amount of rain and they were working hard to accommodate people. Wifi in our area was great. Would stay here again.

On Thu Oct 6th we visited Indiana State Capital Building and Soldiers' & Sailors' Monument. Both of thought Capital was a beautiful building. I tried to get Anita to walk up the 330 steps to the top of Soldiers' Monument but as usual I lost. Took elevator.

Just want to get to our final destination and not distracted by funny roadside oddities anymore :-) Contacted my cousin, Shirley, who is the driving force behind going ...

I've been counting down to this day for months but now that it's here, it doesn't seem real. I'm almost to the airport and it still hasn't set in that I'm going half way around the world to a country that doesn't share the same first language with me, to live in a city I've never been to, with a family I've ...

... is actually considered a National Monument run by the Parks Department so, guess what the girls got to do one last time...that's right, get another Junior Ranger badge! Lol. Finally, since none of the sports teams were playing home games, we were left with one other thing to do in St. Louis, and that was to go to a BBQ. We ended up at Pappy's, rated one of the best BBQs in the nation. Mmmmmm, the ribs did not disappoint! ...

We are only a couple of hours from Indy, so took a leisurely morning, sleeping in a bit and taking a swim. We went to Bob Evan's - we got a table right away but the place was mobbed and the kitchen badly backed up. Still, we weren't in a rush and ...
