A travel blog entry by alaska2013

Today is so or an test run for tomorrow. Let's see if I can handle the boat out on the open ocean. The sun is shining and the ocean is calm which are good outlooks for the day. Today's plan is a half day of halibut fishing. After a quick lesson I'm ready to try my luck. I caught one and I say he's a keeper and I am asked are you sure you don't want …

Arrive in Homer and decide to park at the State …

The weather was pretty chilly and windy. Amy had to climb in the tent, and put nine giant rocks inside to hold it down as I was putting it up. In Homer, there were bald eagles ALL …

There is no better view in the world! Mountains and ocean combined. So very worth the money.
