After we arrived back at the camper storms began to roll in. In checking local TV the Fargo area had tornado warnings and sightings, hail, lots of wind and some terrible weather right in the place we had been. Once again we got away at the right time. Ignorance is bliss!!
Decided to leave early so I would miss thundershowers predicted for Wednesday. Very pretty day. Stopped in St Cloud to see some gardens. Silly me, I had already seen them and even though they were free I did not stay. I plan to get to Miles City, Montana tomorrow. ...

Wounded Knee was an isolated lonely looking place when we arrived. In retrospect, quite fitting for such a sad place.
There was a car parking area with a young man at a table, obviously selling something. Down the slope was a long table with a simple shaded roof. There was a lone woman there. Nothing else to see. We wandered down the slope and met a most amazing woman called Kathy. She was a descendant of the ...
... 8211; it was a great storm! So we let the clothes get mostly dry, and when the rain stopped, we took it all out to the camper and drove back to the motel.
If you’re a cyclist, you’ll know that most cycling clothes don’t go in the dryer. So Dave strung a rope criss-crossed across the camper and we hung up the last of the clothes to dry. It looked like we belonged in a “trailer trash” neighborhood!

Traveled to Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. We are staying overnight at Forest Hills RV Resort. The resort is located on a nice golf course. Unfortunately, the golf course is maintained with Toro and Jack equipment.
On our way to Detroit Lakes, we explored some of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes. We seen a lot of water fowl but that was really the extent of wildlife we encountered.
Chilled out the rest of the day.
