oh my, this place has out done itself...
we are in the middle of one of the most beautiful fyords in the world... tied or close to toppin Alaska!!!
We needed to take the tender (boats) to shore for this stop, once here we took a tour through the fyord, saw the many amazing waterfalls and the 5 farms on the sides of the mountains... incrediable ...

... go by. The internet sucks, so nobody bothers to be online either. Basically, it's an extraordinarily relaxing way to see some beautiful landscape.

... br>Diese beiden Kreuzfahtrschiffe führen einmal pro Tag Touristen durch den Fjord. In Geiranger bleiben sie dann einige Stunden, damit die Leute an Land zum Shopping können.
Demendsprechend hat es zu dieser Zeit auch Touristen in diesem kleinen Ort.
Wir finden eine schöne Hütte am Hang mit wunderschöner Aussicht über den Fjord und bleiben da für eine Nacht.

I don't know how i'm even going to explain how stunningly beautiful the scenery here is! The establishment looked a little iffy when we arrived but ended up being comfortable and accomodating. The only complaint was lack of WiFi in the rooms. We had to sit in the lounge to access.

This morning in Leikanger had an excursion to Sognefjord Mountain Farm run by a woman and her children. Sadly her husband who also ran the farm had passed away last year so they were running it on their own. Met her brother first who showed us some of the hamlet. I went with my friend Lise and her cousin Astrid to visit Jostedal Glacier as part of our 3-day road trip. Norway was the hardest place for me to figure out and to remember all the city names, but I remembered this one! When you have two Norwegians taking you on a road trip you just go where they go and have no idea. What a blast though.
