They have used a lot of the old buildings as business warehouses but also have revamped several and people now live in them. After that short drive, we made our way into town to visit the Crazy Water store. Crazy Water comes from a couple of the mineral wells in this area. Yesterday we drove up to Mineral Wells, TX with mom & dad. The main objective was to visit Clark Gardens. We did accomplish that today, but not as good as I had hoped. ... hour and half, noted the freezer temp had risen from 2 to 8 and the refrigerator compartment from 33 to 40. I decided instead of turning on the propane, I would turn on the generator. So for the next several hours of driving, the generator powered the refrigerator. Bob was not happy, he has this thing about running the generator-guess he keeps thinking the exhaust will fall off again! Anyway, by the time we arrived at the campground, the freezer was down to ...

We have made it as far as Mineral Wells. Time for a fuel stop and getting some fuel for the body too. The heat was terrible today. The sun is down and the ride should be a lot more comfy.
