... for great privacy from neighbors and the road for when the time comes to build a home on the lot. For now, Jamie is living in the rented apartment on the adjacent property. The barn is fantastic at roughly 40' x 100' with 6 stalls, turnouts, and a roll-up door at one end. The other end is being reserved for a 2BR apartment when time allows. The rain and storms in Texas have been historic of late and delayed the completion by a few weeks. But, ...

We had a beautiful drive continuing north through the Texas Hill Country to the Dallas/Fort Worth area -- more rolling hills and beautiful wildflowers. The Lake Mineral Wells State Park is lovely -- our campsite is wooded, secluded, and has a short trail down to the lake. ... see some of the things, but we also missed some of the others. Daddy did seem to enjoy the trains and that was one of the main reasons. At first the trains were not running, but when I expressed that was one of the reasons we were here, they started them. We were the only ones in the gardens. We ate lunch at a local BBQ place, then did some shopping. This morning before going to the gardens, we stopped at the Vietnam Nam Memorial. This time ...

Nov. 7th Drove through drought stricken north Texas to a town that was put on the map due to the healing effects of their 'crazy water'. Lore had it that a prominent woman, who happened to have mental issues, went to Mineral Wells, drank the water and was cured. Word spread, a huge hotel was built in the ...
