... spectacular sandstone gorge with many caves and waterfalls. Some nice walking tracks wind through and around them so we went for a bit of a stroll. Unfortunately, it being the end of summer, none of the falls were running so another time of year would have been better. After an uneventful drive we got to Athens and Donelle's apartment for the year. I spent that evening and the next day taking it easy while she attended to her study commitments. The last couple of weeks have been all about exploring my new home. Athens, Ohio, a small city with it's economy based around the Ohio University. The Ohio University has 38,857 enrolled students with 22,639 onsite students. The 2010 census had the population of Athens at 23,832. Interesting numbers!
