    ... breakfast from the main building. It was a buffet and I always got the same thing: waffles, whipped cream, strawberries and blueberries, maple syrup, a turkey sausage and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. It was heaven!

    So, that was that. Texas was awesome and I so wish we could stay longer but I can’t because I’m playing Liliana in soccer the day after we come back.

    We had to pack real quick on Thursday ...

    ... I still adorn my home with some of the artwork acquired there. Of course The Louvre was amazing and the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles was another preferred site. I am wondering what my older and wiser perceptions will render - I have a feeling I will enjoy more naturalistic sites this time around, as Monet's Gardens and I will be humbled by the Normandy Cemetery.     ... network to get us through the drive (free quick charging stations mostly along major interstate highways) and be looking for hotels that participate in the Tesla Destination charging program so we can charge while we sleep.

    Rally Day

    ... the beginning of the rally. The dinner consisted of Gumbo w/rice, potato salad, and cookies. It was very good and filling. After dinner, some people played games while some of us just sat and talked with folks we haven't seen in months. The theme is Nautical and on Saturday there will be a costume contest. Not sure how many will be participating.

    Tomorrow starts with lunch out then whatever until dinner.

    ... over to Jim & Laura's for dinner. By this time, they had relocated to another campsite (originally they were right across from us but since they had already been there almost two weeks and were going to be there another two weeks, they moved closer to the others in the group).

    It was a nice dinner with the Labowsky's, Gum's and McKee's. It's nice to be part of a friendly group, maybe we'll be able to get together with them again before next New ...
