      ... the Log Slide at Grand Sable Dunes. They are very high and very steep. Did not attempt to go down as the climb back up would have been very taxing. Tom, Mia and Torgny and Sarah met up with us here.

      ... away. We had a little 'happy hour' when we got back instead of lunch. Tonight we'll have a nice dinner and get prepared for our departure in the am. It's been a great week so far --- got to see some great sights and saw the great lakes - Lake Ontario, Erie, Huron, Michigan and Superior.....it's been awesome.       Our purpose in coming to this area was to visit the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum. We found Andres Lake State Forest Campground a few miles north of Paradise. A pretty little lake with nice fall colors and good fishing nearby. Sites are spread out so you get privacy and are good for tent or RV, even larger ones since the sites are quite large.
