This morning we went down and had a buffet breakfast then went out and had a kayak trip at Lido Key.

... to fit in, with the usual queue at the door not yet started. What a great way to finish our 6 months and say farewell to our lovely family . Isabella, Sophia and Couper all saying
“we don’t want you to go”- we too are sad to leave, but other Grandies await us on the other side of the world , so we will be back next year “I tell them”.

Meantime the family (Todd ,Talley and 3 children) were at an evening swim meet in Sarasota .The 2 girls both swam and Isabella's excitement could not be contained as she rushed over when they arrived home to say she had come 2nd in her freestyle event
(8 lengths of the big pool, 200 yards). Sophia swam well but being younger in a 10 and under event, she was against stiff competition, and did not get a placing.
